The Xavier University Ice Hockey program is pleased to announce that Kevin Quinn has accepted the position as the head coach for the Muskie’s white team.
Quinn is from Perrysburg where he was a four year letterman at Perrysburg High school and captain his senior year. After playing high school hockey Quinn played Juniors in the UJHL which was a Junior A tier III team. After his playing career ended he coached with Perrysburg High school including this past year as the head coach.
Quinn’s staff will include Nate Han, class of 2014 and Connor Barnes, class of 2012. Han and Barnes follow in the footsteps of former Muskie player Chris Bergstrom as alums serving on the coaching staff at Xavier.
“Our patience paid off to be sure. We really needed to get the right guy for this very important role and we accomplished that” said Coach Driscoll. “Kevin will be a great addition and add to that Nathan and Connor returning and we could not feel better about the position we are in as we embark on the 2014 – 2015 season”, Driscoll continued.
